In the course of providing you with service, we will use some of your personal information.

We use it while sending you e-mail notifications.

How's it displayed?
The opening screen on Pocket Money displays your first name.

How's it shared?
We share with Dealers who sell you metal and securely vault it until you choose to either cash out, or redeem.

How's it transfered?
Never transferred.
Facebook Id How's it used?
We use it to uniquely identify your profile.

How's it displayed?
Never displayed.

How's it shared?
Never shared with anybody.

How's it transfered?
Never transferred.
Pocket Money Id How's it used?
We use it in our database to uniquely identify your account.

Since we cannot share your Facebook Id with anybody, we need a unique proxy for your Facebook Id.

Technically speaking, Pocket Money Id is a MongoDB object Id.


How's it displayed?
Never displayed.

How's it shared?
We share it with Dealers to uniquely identify the person that they are dealing with.

Because we cannot share your Facebook Id with Dealers, we share, instead, your Pocket Money Id.

Dealers are required, by law, to maintain accounts that accurately list owners of Gold or Silver, and their corresponding balances.


How's it transfered?
Never transferred.
Friend List How's it used?
We use it to show you a list of friends from which you can select that friend to whom you want to transfer Gold or Silver.

How's it displayed?
It is displayed as list on the Transfer screen.

How's it shared?
Never shared with anybody.

How's it transfered?
Never transferred.
Email How's it used?
We use it to send you e-mail notifications.

How's it displayed?
Never displayed.

How's it shared?
Never shared with anybody.

How's it transfered?
Never transferred.
Bank Account Info

1. First Name + Last Name

How's it used?
We use it to make a deposit, in Rupees, when you choose to cash out your Pocket Money balance.

How's it displayed?
If you choose to save this information with us, it will be pre-populated on the Cash Out screen.

How's it shared?
We share it with Dealers who are responsible for making the electronic deposit to your bank account.

How's it transfered?
Dealers securely transfer this information to a bank. The bank needs this information to process the electronic transaction.

All electronic (NEFT) transactions in India require three pieces of information: (Beneficiary) name, IFS Code that uniquely identifies the beneficiary bank and branch, and account number.

This information is printed on the face of your check (cheque).
Shipping Address

How's it used?
You can choose to redeem your balance in physical metal at any time. We use your shipping address to courier metal to you.

How's it displayed?
If you choose to save this information with us, it will be pre-populated on the Redeem screen.

How's it shared?
We share it with Dealers who are responsible for shipping metal to you.

How's it transfered?
Dealers label a secure package with this information and drop it off with the courier company or with India Post.
